October has been a quieter month after the whirlwind summer of the Olympics and Paralympics, but we have still had some fantastic successes from our supported athletes.
This month, young ice skater Anna Litvinenko has been chosen as the Athlete of the Month for October. Anna has been very busy with competitions, travelling to several places in Europe over the past month or so.
Last month Anna competed in the Junior Grand Priz in Ljubljana. Although she was 20th out of 25 skaters, it is an impressive result as she was competing against the best skaters in the world, and still only 15 years old.
You can view her performances from the competition:
More recently, Anna took part in her first international competition at senior level, 5 Denkova-Staviski Cup in Sofia, Bulgaria where she got a bronze medal. This was just behind fellow GB and GSF supported athlete Kristen Spours who took home silver.
Anna has a bright future ahead of her and we urge any budding ice skaters to watch her videos! Well done Anna for having a fantastic October, well deserved.
