Pippa Earley selected to represent England at the Commonwealth Youth Games

Pippa has received the fantastic news that she will represent England in the Commonwealth Youth games in the Bahamas this month. Although Pippa is a pentathlete, she specialises in hurdles and will be competing in the U18 100m hurdles.

Pippa has recently returned from representing England in the ISF World school games in Nancy, France  where 24 nations competed over 2 days 6 athletes to compete in 10 events. Pippa came 2nd on the  last night in the top 8 long jumpers and 3rd in the top 8 hurdlers.  In the World School Games she came 3rd in Long jump and Hurdles, 1st in the relay in a new World schools record and also the girls team won the event in a new World schools record. Her coaches John Shepherd (Long Jump and Heptathlon) and Lloyd Cowan (Hurdles) are very proud of her, and so are we!
