As we enter a new decade, here are a few athlete achievements that deserves recognition for their great work in the months of November and December in 2019.
Firstly, congratulations to Caitlin Maytham who won Gold on 1m at South East Regional schools competition and qualifies for national schools competition on 8th December.
Vanessa Lemer achieved first place in early November’s cocks’ moors championship! Truly inspirational!
Well done to Euphemie Rhodes now ranks 71st in the women amateur golf rankings and is only 17!
Mimi Rhodes has just won the Justin Rose Junior Telegraph! Well done, outstanding achievement Mimi.
Well done to Lutalo Muhammad who earned himself a silver medal and claimed his first title in nearly four years, with great confidence of securing a place at Tokyo 2020. Which shows hard work pays off, keep the confidence Lutalo! Well done.
Congratulations to Janey Narewska who has had a successful year. Her greatest achievement to date as a synchronised swimmer was to qualify for the second time for a place in England squads and has also received exciting news of being selected in the England Youth squad for 2019-2020. She is proud to be the first swimmer from Henley Synchro club to have reached this level in the sport which is an outstanding achievement.
Tumbling gymnast Ben Goodall from Harwell put in the performance of his life to take the Bronze Medal in the 2019 World Age Tumbling Championships in Tokyo early December. In a very close final making Great Britain proud he walked away with a bronze medal 0.300 from silver and 0.600 from Gold! Well done Ben!
Caitlin Maythams has achieved incredible results in her diving results for both November and December. Achieving Silver in 1m, Gold in 3m and platform diving. In junior girls 1m achieving silver which projects a talented individual who should be extremely proud? Well done Caitlin.
A huge well done to Laura Sheffield who recently won a silver medal in the Fencing World Cup at San Salvador, which has helped to raise her world ranking to 4th.
Massive well done to Callum Sullivan and his team in coming second in the Cambridge university boat crew in in 18.44.6, Amazing result well done and great team effort
