Grace Harvey Awarded Athlete of the Year for Manchester University

Celebrating excellence in Sport and Physical Activity across the University of Manchester.

In May 2024, as The University of Manchester celebrated its 200-year anniversary, UoM Sport and XXI club celebrated its first ever combined UoM Sport Awards and XXI Club Dinner, hosted in the iconic Whitworth Hall. The evening was an opportunity to celebrate and recognise current and historical sporting success. To mark the bicentenary and celebrate the first joint event, bringing together current sporting students and alumni, The University of Manchester Sport Hall of Fame was introduced.

This award recognises the achievements and contributions of athletes, coaches and supporting staff throughout our history.

The event saw 23 students inducted into the XXI club; 62 students awarded committee stripes for volunteering; 30 students awarded performance colours for athletic achievement; 2 alumni inducted into The Hall of Fame; awards for Social Responsibility and Inclusion; as well as awards for Team, Club, Volunteer, Coach and Athlete of the Year.
